Fitness Centers
View the Chicago Park District's 66 new/improved fitness centers. Our facilities offer a high-quality, low-cost alternative to private gyms. Membership rates range from $30-$75 for a three-month session, a fraction of the cost of commercial gyms.

Theater on the Lake
The 2010 season opens June 16th with evening performances running Wednesdays through Sundays. Performances begin at 7:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday, and at 6:30 pm on Sunday.

Nature in the City Brochure
This brochure features all things “green” within Chicago’s parks. Specifically it includes descriptions and location information for nature areas, gardens, community gardens, and green facilities such as the conservatories and North Park Village Nature Center. In addition, information on Chicago Park District nature programs and volunteer stewardship opportunities is included.

Chicago Park District Map
View all the Chicago Park District staffed parks (locations with buildings and staff). The map includes the Park District's North, Central and South region boundaries.

Lakefront Trail Map
This map shows the Lakefront trail from Hollywood Ave. on the north, to 79th St. on the south. It features the different paths along with public transportation stops, restrooms, parking and other important areas along the trail.

Nature in the City Map
This map is part of the Nature in the City brochure. It lists all the nature areas, gardens, community gardens and "green" facilities within Chicago's parks.

Special Use Facilities Booklet
The Chicago Park District is home to some of the most extraordinary spaces for weddings, corporate functions and other special occasions. This booklet offers large photos of many of these spaces, along with details on location, size and capacity of each site.

You Run the City Booklet
The You Run the City activity guide was created in 2009 for use by Chicago Park District summer day camp recreation leaders. The You Run the City theme is part of the citywide celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Daniel Burnham's Plan of Chicago. We invite you to use the guide's activities to have some fun this summer while making Bold Plans and Big Dreams. North Park Village Nature Center Map
This map shows the whole preserve which includes four different habitats; a woodland, wetland, prairie and oak savanna. Also included is an overview of seasonal "things to see" and at the preserve, along with a history, directions and hours.
